Auction Factory 1.6.6 milestone

In the new version of Auction Factory, besides from custom fields for
profile and custom fields for the auction items, you can now create
Buy-it-now only auctions, allowing the extension to act like a multi-vendor
e-commerce component. Adding the interactivity of an auction software with
the new feature of "price suggestion", user can have the experience of
bargaining for items and the well organized look of an e-shop.
Of course all features related to auctioning and auctioneering are still
available for your users, with neat addition in this version: auto-extend
auctions, configurable shipping prices, udde-im integration, and more..

Joomla meets Desktop software - Free Windows Gadgets

As webmaster you use not only online environments like for instance your
joomla website or Google mail, but also you need to use your laptop/desktop
PC on an everyday basis. It is sometimes time consuming and annoying to have
your virtuemart admin section open or always to check your email for orders.
Other webmasters might want to know whenever a new user registers, or
whenever a new post was made in their forums. Since the majority of our
visitors use a windows based environment, we thought that a solution based
on windows gadgets that might fit our users needs.
This was the birth of our Gadget Factory Product line (Free to download and
use). In order to get the desktop widgets to work, you have to install the
Gadget Factory Joomla extension (free download) in your website and set up
the data exchange password. Then install the windows gadgets in your windows
vista or windows 7 sidebar, set up the web site address and password, and
you will immediately get your needed info in your sidebar.
