Joomla meets Desktop software - Free Windows Gadgets

As webmaster you use not only online environments like for instance your
joomla website or Google mail, but also you need to use your laptop/desktop
PC on an everyday basis. It is sometimes time consuming and annoying to have
your virtuemart admin section open or always to check your email for orders.
Other webmasters might want to know whenever a new user registers, or
whenever a new post was made in their forums. Since the majority of our
visitors use a windows based environment, we thought that a solution based
on windows gadgets that might fit our users needs.
This was the birth of our Gadget Factory Product line (Free to download and
use). In order to get the desktop widgets to work, you have to install the
Gadget Factory Joomla extension (free download) in your website and set up
the data exchange password. Then install the windows gadgets in your windows
vista or windows 7 sidebar, set up the web site address and password, and
you will immediately get your needed info in your sidebar.

RSS Factory PRO v.1.5.6 - Content creation improved

In the latest Version our premium RSS Reader Extension was improved with
an extensive Import to Content feature that allows you to import News
directly from the source website NOT ONLY WHAT THE FEED contains. Most
RSS Feeds contain just one teaser paragraph in order to get the user reading
the entire article in the source website. Now you can get the whole article!
Just enable the advanced settings in Import2Content for the feed and create
the necessary rules
Also in this version - you can enable voting for your users and you can use
the new display style - DIGG style ! It has become very popular since it's
inclusion in version 1.5.5
