Hi
The site sorts after date now but when serveral ads are posted the latest ad gets posted UNDER the older of that date. The latest ad should be posted on the top of the page always.
Example
Day01 - Add01
Day01 - Add02
Day02 - Add01
Should be
Day01 - Add02
Day01 - Add01
Day02 - Add01

Hi,
Take a look in your mod_adsman module in the modules directory.
Edit the helper file and arround the 35 line you have the following line:
" ORDER BY a.start_date DESC, a.id ASC ".
Replace it with:
" GROUP BY a.id ORDER BY a.start_date DESC, a.id ASC ".
This way you make sure ads are not repeatedly displayed due to any reason.

Be sure you are editing the SITE/modules/mod_adsman and not the SITE/components/com_adsman/modules/mod_adsman file.

the "Site/module" helperfile is already edited with " GROUP BY a.id ORDER BY a.start_date DESC, a.id ASC ". since I started the thread back in March.
and the "components/adsman/module" helper is " ORDER BY a.start_date DESC, a.id ASC ".
The issue is still there sadly..

In this case,
Pls detail the ordering issue that you now describe.
The issue fixing back then based in actual mysql id of the ads so the ordering will be date based and id based within the date criteria ( the same date ads will be ordered by id).
Pls describe the ordering that you meet against the ordering expected (the order in list the ad name ,date, id of ad ) .

The current ordering is described above, the latest posted ad is posted below the first ad of that day.
So you want me to access the DB and write down the details of an ad at this point?

You can fix a super admin account and send it to support so I can inspect the issue locally.
I checked your file module edit and the GROUP BY seems to be present where it should.
This doesn't replicate on our local servers and I can not see another reason for duplicate ads been shown.
