I have Ads Factory  version 1.5.4 and Joomla version is 1.5.15.
I need to remove start and end dates so that user cannot set them in add new ad form . However i need to display start  and end date in  ads list  ?

Any quick solution for this problem would be mostly appreciated.

In the t_editadd.tpl
replace the calendar controlls with hidden fields:
For instance for start_date:

Replace
<input class="text_area" type="text" readonly name="start_date" id="start_date" size="15" maxlength="19" value="{get_now|date_format:$opt_date_format}" alt="start_date"/>
<input type="reset" class="button" value="..." onClick="return showCalendar('start_date','{$opt_date_format}');" />

with
<input class="hidden" type="text" readonly name="start_date" id="start_date" size="15" maxlength="19" value="{get_now|date_format:$opt_date_format}" alt="start_date"/> {get_now|date_format:$opt_date_format}
