Hi  I have read http://www.thefactory.ro/joomla-forum/auctionfactory/pleasehelpcsvimport-2843.0.html.html and tried saving csv file from xls comma separated and replacing with tabs, tab delimited etc.  Am i doing something wrong .. i can get it to work if I use a $500 programme (on trial) but i don't want to buy that ... its more than Auction Factory! .. .. my questions are:

1.  Does excel work to convert to csv?
2.  Does it matter which version of excel I am using?
3.  Do I just go to file/save as/csv .. cos its not working 4 me.

Hi dimitri9, thank you for your reply.  My csv file is now working.. I need to save my excel document as a .txt (tab delimited) file ... then open it in a programme like Notepad and delete all of the spaces at the very end of the document and save it again.  It uploads beautifully!
