How can I hide a category in the Post Information?

You must unpublish the category from backend -> Deluxe Blog Factory -> Categories

But I have articles in there for internal use only. I do not want blogs to be in that category.

Then you can define your own categories in the Blog component and you can use those categories for blogging.
