Allow end-user to download ebook
« on: December 15, 2009, 07:22:13 pm »

Hi,

Is there a way for me to insert a hyperlink or button on my pages to allow my users to download the rendered ebook? I do not know how do that for the time being.

(I am working on a country information website, so I want to allow my users to download a country file - with all the items from a given Joomla category - directly from the website).

I have been able to render the PDF files in the backend but i don't know how to make them accessible in the frontend.

Thanks in advance !

This feature is not available. It requires code changes.

The rendered book in the backend are available only on the backend side.
There is also the possibility that on the frontend the user are able to generate their own ebook.

Thanks for the quick answer.

How can I make it possible for users to generate ebooks from the frontend? I think it would suit my needs...

Have a great day!
