Hi

I tried your ExchangeRatesEU_Factory_2.4 module but got those errors crash my site...

Warning: file_put_contents(/home/mysite/public_html/cache/curs_eur/curs_20-02-2009.xml) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/mysite/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 297

So whats the problem?

I tried to change curs_eur mod for permission settings but its like its not installed with right permissions from the beginning. I also used two cache programs on my site so that maybe is also affecting this module...one of them is http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/cache/7350/details

Any solution?

I have the same problem and get the message public_html/cache/curs_eur etc. etc.
After changing the permission to 777 it's working fine but when i look the next day the permissions are back to 411.

I'm at joomla 1.5.10

I don't say it has anything to do with the module!

The module is great, i just wonder why the security is changed back to a level the module can't write to the cache directory.

Can you give me a tip were to look.

Well, when I enable the module ... everything is blank. The entire page.

Any solution to this?

Later Edit: Don't mind me .... I figured out how to do it ... I just enabled all the php extensions. I don't know if really turning all on is a safe ideea but ... for me is just a testing server.

If you have this problem ... take advices from professionals.
