Since we decided to focus more on the features of the product and to release new versions as soon as possible in order for our customers to benefit much faster of the new features we decided to maintain surely up to date only the english language file which come directly with the component download.
This thread is meant to help other webmaster, who prefer another language other then english, so they have a good start, needing only to bring the files to the last stand.

I've edited the language file but don't see the changes I've made appear in the front end.  Do I have to turn the file on or tell the component to look at this file for changes?

I've tried this with no luck.  Maybe I am not understanding the purpose of the language files.  I understand that they are used for translation but can it also be used for simple customization?  I want to change the the text on some of the pages.  For example, the comments section currently says, "Comments are not allowed for your group!"   I want to change this to something like, "You must be logged in to leave a comment."  I changed this in the language file expecting to see the change in the comments section.   Am I understanding correclty that the language file will let me make these changes?  If so,  I can't get my changes to the language file to show in the component.

Hi ! i bought the latest version of Hot or not but i can t change the language files. I tried to modify the ini files in the lang repertory then in the language repertory (en-GB and fr-FR) and no way. I really can t modify the files of the front. For the back no problem i translated all.

Have you an idea about that

Yes, i put all the ini files in the right directorys, in the fr-FR and in the en-GB after renamed it but nothing appears.

FOr the admin i got no problem, i really don t know why it don t work with this component...
