Limit upload weight?
« on: January 07, 2010, 10:55:07 pm »

Using 1.0.5, I just successfully uploaded a 4000 x 4000, 5 mb jpeg!

I have 450 x 450 px set as the max in the image section.

Triggered by some issues with my hosting, my host suggested I turn off any programs that aren't limiting uploads. I am just now suspecting that this program is the culprit. Is there a way to limit these giant pictures from being uploaded?

Hello!

The component works like this: first the image is uploaded to the server and then it's being resized to the "Image maximum width" and " Image maximum height" values set in the backend.

Wasn't the image resized to those specified values?

Or do you want to stop the upload in the first place?
