On my site, I want anybody to be able to pay to view the media. However, I don't want just anybody to be able to think they can upload media. Media will be provided by professional contributors I choose through other means of networking. Can the "upload new media" option be hidden?

This would be extremely important to me so that I could guarantee the quality of the content available for purchase to my visitors.

Aside from that, the component looks exactly like what I need.

and is there a chance to limit the number of uploads of a certain group?

Say for example you want to allow unlimited upload to Author group but just 3 upload to Registered group.
