Hi,
For some reason, one of the feeds on my site displays a date of 1970 on the live site but correctly displays 2007 on the local site. The other feed on my site is ok, both live and local. Any ideas what's wrong?
Secondly, the READ MORE link at times (most times) doesn't work for both feeds. If I click on it takes me to a blank page on my site.
Here's the link
http://www.norwichadventistchurch.org.uk/component/option,com_rssfactory/Itemid,34/
Thanks
/k

Hi,
I have problems with this feed
http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/NST/rss/allSec
When I click refresh, I get this error
Error: the XML response that was returned from the server is invalid.
Received:
Is it possible to make it that if I click refresh links, all the feeds get refreshed even if one of them has problems (maybe like server or connection problems)
Thanks!

Twy,
Please replace this file on FTP. The Feed you submitted was slightly malformed. It's now taken care of. Will be in next release, but meanwhile use this file to overcome this problem

Hi all !
We found the issue regarding some UTF-8 RSS Feeds, and it's fixed these days. We will release a minor upgrade that fix also all issues previously mentioned in other Forum posts.
Sorry it took longer, but we tried to find a way to display UTF-8 feeds in ISO encoded pages, but it seems it would take too long to execute and the script could time out. we will use another approach

I have the same problem with this
http://www.knhs.nl/rss.asp
feed. I replaced the file, but no luck it is still showing 01/01/1970. Any suggestions?

Did you clear the Cache?
Another solution would be to set the PHP locale to Netherlands
but it's just a though, not a real solution. the thing is PHP cannot handle dates like
<pubDate>zo, 27 mei 2007 16:33:10 GMT</pubDate>
without knowing that it's dutch language.
Anyway the workaround i added in that file should do the job, or the new released rssFactory 1.0.3

RssFactory 1.0.3 Should solve most problems in this thread regarding UTF-8 in Joomla.
Please let us know if the problems persists.
