Overview

With rss Factory 1.5.x we decided to step up again with a high quality product and offer a fully native Joomla 1.5.x component.

rss Factory 1.0 started actually as a new, improved version of "RSSreader2" firstly provided by SoftMarket.ro

Since we extended our line of products we changed the brand name and moved it to the new location. Furthermore we decided that although various improvements and his rising popularity, rss Factory 1.0 must remain free of charge. Therefore it is offered here as a free download.

Description

Starting with rss Factory 1.5.x the component has been redeveloped to offer full native Joomla 1.5.x compatibility and support. 

In his previous life as RSSReader2, our component had over 7000 downloads and is indexed in Google in over 750 sites! With the versions compatible with Joomla 1.0.x the numbers tripled.

If you decide to choose the relevant topics, RSS Feeds are simple and clean ways to direct genuine traffic towards your site. You will be pleasantly surprised with the results.

Known limitations:

• Problems with some UTF-8 feeds if your site uses ISO encoding
• There are some problems inserting Google Adsense code in TinyMCE WISIWYG editor; bypass it by switching WISIWYG editor off, changing the add content, then switching it back on.

This is the closest I have come to what I was looking for. I wanted the linked feed to open in my content window, which this newest version does. It
does open a new window though instead of just loading it into my open content window, but I haven't finished checking the settings yet.

The module is quite a good oppotunity to increase your SEO potential without much effort.

Let us just take a peek at Google's
statement:

“Documents for which there is an increase in the rate of change might be scored higher than those documents for which there
is a steady rate of change, even if that rate of change is relatively high. The amount of change may also be a factor in this scoring. For example,
documents for which there is an increase in the rate of change when that amount of change is greater than some threshold might be scored higher than

With help of the filter
Feature, the module can provide pretty well keyword targeted content without having to edit it yourself.
